Question for the expert aircraft designers.....
I attempted to add a second version to an addon Grumman E-2C Hawkeye, which was repainted a fictional black. Nice, but, I wanted to add authentic texture files to it's folder so I can choose which verison I wanted to fly. I redid the original texture files in Navy grey and added the new texture folder to the Hawkeye folder. I modified the Aircraft.cfg file and added, what I thought, was the appropriate code so both versions were selectable.
The original black version looks normal, but the new grey version shows up in the list, and in the sim as a plain white aircraft, with no detail at all except for the transparent cockpit and pilots. I saved the redone .BMP files as 8-bit, 256 color, optimized bitmaps, which I've done on other aircraft, but this is the first time I've seen this happen.
Can someone tell me, "what the heck", or point me in the right direction?
Thanks. |
