Hi, new to this world. Hope someone can clarify some things. Just installed Project AI but until now I don't see much difference. I do see different planes on the airport, however they still have the same liveries as before. How can I make sure the the new Traffic_PAI.BGL is running?

Go to your FS9/Scenery/World/Scenery folder and it should be there. Or FS2002/Scenedb/ATC/Scenery.
You should see it there. If not, try a search of your folders and find out where it went, and copy it to the proper location if found.
Did you install PAI flights for liveries different than the existing ones?

First, check the traffic settings in FS. Open up FS and go to SETTINGS/TRAFFIC and set the TRAFFIC slider to 75% or higher. It must be above 50% for PAI AI A/C to appear.
Start FS and go to a major airport (KJFK, KATL, KORD) see if there is any improvement in the PAI type AI A/C.
Did it work:
YES, good go fly.
NO, keep reading...
Go to your main FS9 folder and navigate to: SCENERY/WORLD/SCENERY
Find a file called: Traffic_PAI.BGL
If it's there good, if not, something didn't work during the install and you need to try again. If it's there, now find a file (same location) called: TrafficXXX.BGL (XXX representing a #). Rename this file TrafficXXX.LGB and then close the folder. Renaming this file will disable ALL default AI A/C to verify your not having any fights over parking spots at the gates between default pilots and PAI AI pilots. (removes default A/C and makes room for PAI A/C)
Start FS and go to a major airport (KJFK, KATL, KORD) see if there is any improvement in the PAI type AI A/C.
Give these two steps a try and see how it works. If you still don't see an improvement or any PAI AI A/C you can checkout this link: http://forums.surclaro.com/ftopic998-0.html
If you have any questions or need more help post back here and I'll give you a hand later this afternoon.

Ive changed that traffic file and my default traffic has gone. Good start!
I have a continental traffic pack that is still there. I dont mind that being there.
I installed pai installer and this is what happend....
It was looking for a file and I couldnt locate them. I downloaded cargo traffic from that site for B.A, luft and air france. Could some help me get these running in fs9?
Im also looking for a link to download the commertial airliners traffic packages.
Thanks for the help Rick and Ex!!

You have to unzip them first. PAI files are all in zip format. Extract them first, I make a seperate folder for all PAI Flightplans to unzip to. Once unzipped, then the PAI Installer will read the package. Got your PM...and will send the tute to you today...been having problems with my internet service so have to wait till they repair it....

As I said earlier...I'm having problems with my ISP service so not a good idea to email them. Sorry. I have every file that PAI has so that won't do any good anyways.
Did you unzip them, then run the PAI Installer? The Installer won't unzip them for you like MRAI's does.

Hey Michael,
That file you sent is just an update. Try the British Airways package. Download it, unzip it and then use the PAI installer to install it. Let me know what happens okay.
Don't worry, we'll get you through this.

Is your AI setting in FS set to 100%? PAI Cargo plans don't have a lot of flightplans in them. Try a Passenger plan...use a big one like Air Canada, United, BA, Air France etc. Then just hang out for a sec at the airport and you should see them.
