Add-on scenery sometimes offers you the choice of selecting a millimeter, ( mm ), measurement range prior to installation. For example, 16mm -versus- 32mm, or 74mm. What difference does it make visually to the user? How should this decision be made? I have a top of the line, very fast computer, with an overclocked graphics card, and 2 gigs of memory. I want to see as much small detail as possible in my scenery display. Should I choose a small "mm" measurement range for my add-on scenery, or a larger "mm" number? What's the difference in what I'll see in one choice over another?... |

Are you talking about terrain resolution settings?
I'm assuming that's what you mean because the settings (who's numbers are close to the values you listed) change the detail level (resolution) of the terrain mesh.
Look in your FS9.cfg file for the following entry:
TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL= XX <---change this value to one of the numbers below (number only).
High resolution= 21
Medium resolution=20
Low resolution=19 |
