I'm having some ground texture problems. Textures in the distance have this kind of tie die/rainbow affect. Does anybody have any kind of patch or solution that may help this?

On my system using an ATI 9600xt I have found that reducing the mip map detail to 4 tended to resolve the "shimmer" effect in Fs9.

Then you will be watching for a very long time.....check the dates on this baby...lol. I eventually gave up on CFS3, mainly due to the fact that in order to have a multiplayer event, everybody connecting had to have the same setup for aircraft and scenery....booooo. I personally enjoyed the merged install of IL2-Forgotten Battles-Pacific Fighters much more. I do give high marks to the intro video for CFS3.
