If you have the Bluestream Dolphin and wondered how to get the rotor moving in vc view, here is the fix. I found it while cruising the Hovercontrol forums where you will find a wealth of information for helicopter enthusiasts.
Just go to your Bluestream Dolphin aircraft.cfg and correct this section as follows:
[GeneralEngineData]
engine_type= 3
Engine.0= -0.833, -20.000, 60.000
Engine.1= -0.833, -20.000, 60.000
fuel_flow_scalar=3.0
min_throttle_limit= 0.000
This fix applies to any of these Dauphin/Dolphin models as noted in their aircraft.cfg files with this header:
// Flight Simulator 2002/4 aircraft configuration file
// Aerospatiale/Eurocopter AS365N3 Dauphin

| Just wanted to put a little something in here to bring this topic back up front for those who have wondered about fixed rotor issues in VC view with the Bluestream Dolphin helicopter. Also, if you dont like the "big blue disc" there is a fix file available here at Surclaro with updated rotors. For anything having to do with Bluestream Airlines just type bluestream into the search bar. |
