okay this is really bugging me. Some of my planes/helos Have Great texture. But then there are the ones that dont. The P-51 has about the worst of them all. Any one know why some textures are nice when others are fuzzy? you cant even read any of the writing on it.

there's mips in that texture...the painter didn't remove them, or they are in DXT3 format which allows for reduced quality but higher FPS. Contact the repainter and see if he/she has an update or can fix it.

Thanks Exx for the speedy reply. The last couple of times i have tried to contact authors have been unsuccesful. Hopefully he will sent me back an e-mail.

Actually, you can fix it yourself if it's just a mip problem. Get DXTbmp, open the texture folder/file you wish to correct, then uncheck the save with mips option box at the right and save the texture back to its original location, answer yes to overwrite. That's it, mips removed.
