As most of you may be aware, on Saturday March 5th our forum was intentionally hacked by a group that is currently under investigation. One of the culprits, a juvenile, is presently being tracked as his location has been verified. Due to the age of this offender, we cannot release his name but can verify that he is residing in Serbia. We have an exact location and are currently contacting the authorities there to ascertain what our options are in issuing a punishment for this offender.

This investigation was successful due to the fact of a small number of our members assisting in the tracing of the attempts on our site, and one of our members taking it upon himself to research and locate the offenders and promptly notifying them of the consequences of their actions, and forwarding that information to me.

The matter is still in the investigative mode and as more information comes in, we will be sharing it with our membership as well as other affiliates in the FS community. Many thanks to the members who assisted in the location of this individual, and to all who stood by and supported them. There was no damage to the forum, and no compromise of the personal information of our membership. Furthermore, the site has been upgraded to reduce the further risk of these types of attacks.
