You 'flattened' the psd file? Or the Targa file?
Never flatten the photoshop psd file cause then you can always go back and make changes/improvements/copies. You have to flatten the Targa though. Then use that to copy over the textures to the texture maps, slap em around with DXTBmp and save into FS.
So in short, 3 files:
1. PSD files with all layers/styles intact
2. Targa files with no layers but alpha preserved
3. Bmp files for use in FS textures
Right? If you don't you are missing crucial steps in repainting process. If you don't know about any of the files and what they do or how it works check out some tutorials via Google. Good stuff out there.
