Hi Smile

Can someone please point me towards a site where you can download repaint kits for some of the default FS2004 aircraft, in either .psd or .psp format?

Thanks Smile

I've never heard of any paintkits for the default a/c. Most people I know just repaint over the original textures...could be wrong about the paintkits though.

Maybe I'm doing things the hard way, but on those paint kits for the default a/c at simviation and most every repaint kit I've used the bitmaps dont come up correctly on psp9. But luckily also on simviation theres a prog called Bitmap 2000 in the utilities you can download to open and send to psp, reload after edit and save back to the texture folder that makes it easy. Also the default repaint kits I find are kinda hard to work with because the textures are not well defined on the bitmap making things like paint bucket hard. The user up loaded reapaints are pretty good though.

For PSP you can use either DXT or BMP2k.

Thought I heard something about those paintkits a long time ago so I didn't really note them in memory. You might be better off just using existing textures like others do. At least that way you know they work...

Thanks everyone for your replies. I've downloaded an excellent kit for the Bell Jetranger, and was wondering if there were any more good ranges with the right layers for what I need. Simviation looks good! Very Happy
