Anyone know of such a product. Any ideas why CH has not come out with FFB on their yokes? It would complete the package in my opinion..Just a thought.. Commments?

FFB anything uses motors and also puts wear and tear on the device. It was probably considered and dropped for reliability and warranty reasons. Why dont you wander on over to CH Products and ask them directly then report back to us on your findings as a service to the entire Surclaro community. I am sure simming minds want to know Very Happy

A force feedback yoke would not be a complete package unless you had force feedback rudder pedals, no?

GS, I did send an email to CH and will post their reply as soon as I receive it from them.

I do use rudder pedals, the ones that came with my MOMO steering wheel. I dont know, had a ffb joystick before the yoke and I thought it added something to the experience.

Several years ago, I purchased a Force-Feedback joystick. I tried it for about two or three days and returned it to the store because the sucker would not stop vibrating. Even if I wanted to grab a glass of milk and a bite of cookie, the sucker kept going and going and going.

I agree that a force feedback yoke would be a great idea. Perhaps they will be out someday.

While you are holding your breath, you may wish to consider what I just bought last Saturday. This Butt Kicker makes the whole chair vibrate (connected to the Center/Subwoofer port in the back of your computer). It works best in Cockpit or Virtual Cockpit mode. There is very little base sounds in the Spot Plane view. At least now, I can drink my milk and eat cookies (however I have to be extra careful with the crumbs because the vibrating chair tends to shake them all over the room). Cool

Ch made a FFB controller several years ago, but had trouble producing drivers when 98 went to 200 then XP as the controllers, were analog. when directx went through their rapid growth from 3 to v 9 C H dropped the serial port versions of all their stuff.

I loved that stick coupled with a pro throttle it was bulletproof, but it did generate alot of heat.

Now the teeth, posting in a three year old topic about serial based controllers that by most practical applications are far beyond obsolete is not the best introduction you could make.
Not trying to put you off, yes your posts matter. Take some time, look around a bit, I know you have things to offer better than this post.
If you are not familiar with web boards, sometimes there is a reason a topic is three years old.

But....were you any less relevant when you were three years old? I still have my Wingman Force 3D, I have it wrapped up now cause it's still in perfect working order. I do not have the force presently due to the presence of a two year old. Believe it or not, Mr. Saitek twenty dollar special is proving amazingly resilient to physical abuse and dust. Furthermore, dead threads sometimes produce some real jewels. Now, as stated above we are not about harvesting corpses, but I personally wouldnt want to put you off for a common flub. btw.....I wonder what is the world's record for oldest thread revived on accident?
