Try deleting your FS9.cfg file then restart FS and see if it happens.

Might be that your graphics controller/chip just can't handle the load that FS is putting on it. That is an onboard chip and I'm pretty sure it's not getting all the power it needs to run the resources of FS's requirements.

Failing that...try a reinstall of FS and hope that fixes your problem...

Its in your C:/Documents.../YOURUSERNAME/Application Data/Microsoft/FS9/...folder. When you do a search make sure you have 'hidden files' enabled as part of the search.

No, it will not delete anything but it does reset your settings for display/joystick configurations/atc...the general stuff you setup in FS when you first install it. It will not erase any scenery, addons etc.

That file has to be somewhere. FS can't run without it? And you can't use someone else's file as it is specific to your computer/system including FS addons and setup.

You turned off 'hidden folders' while searching? Okay, looks like you are going for a complete reinstall then. Remember to disable your antivirus prog before installing.

Those arent just icons in your main folder for FS2000 and FS2002, what they do is allow certain components of the program to remain functional without a total redevelopment of every single .dll. Just wait, once FS is a totally new program we wont be able to use aircraft, scenery etc. from previous versions at all, at least not without some resource hogging interface application.
