well...for info on your gfx card go to control panel -> system and scan around a little (diffenernt setups have different ways to find them) you should probarbly be looking for ATI or Nvidia or Radeon or GeForce etc.
but the "ultimate" graphics can only be made by using the absolute latest technology. Everything best-best like the new radeon xt850 with liquid metal cooling etc. will cost like a new car though to get the very latest and best. stick with normal specs (that means normal prices, too!) like nvidia 6600gt and amd athlon 64 3?00+.
as for the kwiktips noone of us has no idea what gfx cards or what setups they used. sorry, you gotta contact microsoft for info on that.
hope that helps |

The Kwiktips videos are not done on a PC with a good gfx card. Video authoring hardware/software is used so you may as well not even bother unless you want to buy a video editing suite. Expensive stuff that.
As for the suggestion of the 850xt...go for the x800 if you are a Radeon fan. Very little performance difference between the two but HUGE price diff as the x800 is way cheaper. 850xt needs a lot more stuff available for it to run as well. Personally, I'd suggest stay away from ATi but hey, it's your money.

well then you should be proud, because it IS one of the very best. and if you already spent the money there's nothing to do about it so you should just be very-very happy...

Sorry about that Noddy...shopping around pays off sometimes. Can't see how anyone can be very happy about spending too much money on something that could have been cheaper but hey, there's all kinds out there.
How is the card working out for ya anyways? Did you have to do a case modification to accomodate the two extra PCI slots required or did it just fit right in? Got any benchmarks for us? Just curious is all.

@ Myth - You recommend a card and say it is the best and you don't know what the speed of it's memory is? Kinda contradicting yourself again.
Koo Noddy. Sounds like a good system. Personally would have gone for an AMD processor over Intel and again, an Nvidia card but that is a great system. Lots of tweaks for the HT CPU. What core are you getting because that is very important. Your shots are good now...can't wait for the new one's mate!
