What is the easiest way to add a windsock to a NEW airport? Is there a way to do it without another program? Can I just edit a bgl. file or something?

It's been a while since I messed with animated objects in FS, I suggest you go scan the forums at http://www.scenerydesign.org/ . You'll find the answer to just about every scenery design question you can come up with. BUT, look through the forums first, before you post a question.

If I track down the thread dealing with windsocks, I'll post it here.

Nothing there that really addresses my issue. I know you can't do it with afcad, and I DO have a macro of a windsock, but have no idea how to put into my airport.

isn't there like a runway12 scenery design or something like that?

Rwy12 isnt for placing those kind of micros, Just the stuff made specifficly for it.
