| wow, this is easy. Education and training. When your 15 (16?), you can take flying lessons. Some states (?) have an age limit or the FCC does it. Find out thru a local/nearby airport. Let your fingers do the walking in the yellow pages. |

| Also, depending where you live there is the Civil Air Patrol, Air Explorers or Air Force JROTC through your local school. |

hello. im 14 too, but i haven't been able to start any lessons unfortunately. Im starting Glider lessons in November, and i dunno when ill get my license. anyways when i get my glider license, is it easy to convert that to a regular prop license with only a few lessons? also, I live in Hungary but im american. When I come back to California for college, does anybody know if i can transfer any licenses i got in hungary into America so i dont have to do any lessons all over again? Haha good thing bout here is its REALLY cheap to fly and take lessons. |

| Hello. Iv been a pilot for 5 years, I got my private pilots licence (PPL) in 2000 at a private flying school,(not a college) then I got my instrument rating after that. If you want to take it a little bit further you can get your commercial licence, but that does not mean you can fly airlines, Thats a whole other story, and gos into ATPL and minimal age REQ, that is 23. Now, first off, I started when I was 17, and it took me about 4 months to complete it, then you take a check ride. If you complete and pass the check ride you get your private pilots licence. Then you can get your instrument rating, that rating will permit you to fly in the clouds and file a IFR flight plan, in IMC conditions. That rating took me about 6 months, and is one of the hardest to complete. When you pass your Instument rating check ride you can go for the commercial pilots licence. Now I will stop right there. You dont want to get to far ahead of your self. The cost for a PPL and instument rating could be as high as 7,000 for your PPL and about the same for your instrumnt rating. So you can expect to pay about 10,000 to 14,000 for both. You can get your PPL at the age of 17. the first thing he will teach you, is, startup, check list, perflight of the airplane, taxi, take off, the radio, traffic circuits, emergency procedures, stalls, slow flight, turns around a point, climb, criuse, decent, landing, and much more. Anymore qustions, just ask me. |

Get a recreational pilot's license. You can actually get subdivate FCO licenses from the age of 12 from the American Commodate Enthusiasts Centre, but all must be overseen by a co-pilot for safety reasons. My son was awarded the Golden Ruddervator Award.
Stick at it and eventually you too might gain a High IUT Rating. Good luck! |

| He is obviously making it up - dont believe that cretinous infidel. It's not the first time he's spammed crap like this, i'm inclined in thinking that his previous Alias was called Helices or something like that. |

We've had problems with both of you here at this site in previous occasions. From what I recall you two are the grandchildren of Dave Black therein the similar IP's and multiple personalities. The Boost Nacelles topic is the one that contains this information. Don't bother looking for it, it's saved in our Mods/Admin section for a purpose.
To be quite frank, we aren't going to put up with anymore of this crap from either of you. Find another place to play your games or pay for your own server space to fake your wares instead of wasting our time.

| Guys, guys, will you ever get tired of that BS? I know I am, and half of other people are! What is so funny about writing crap in the pilots lounge, that you seem to like so much. It is obvious that neither of you has anything to do with aviation further from Microsoft, so stop pretending. Nobody is biting it. Always remember, that a forum is not the same as talkingto someone in person. All things you say here remains here, and everyone remembers it, and those who don't - find it with search option. So nobody will forget who and what you are. People have given you second and third chance, and here you are again, doing the same. Which then puts us back to a question; should people be given second chances in life? Is it worth someone else's time? Think about it. |
