i used to be in your position 2 years ago. I am 14 now (duh) and i take flight lessons at my local airport. you can get your private pilot's liscence at the age of 17, solo at 16, but until then, i'm happy with sitting in the pilot's seat with an instructor! So i suggest you locate an EAA chapter (airport) near your home where you can take a Young Eagles flight which is an EAA based program where you go up with a pilot in his/her private airplane ABSOlUTELY FREE!!! i did it like... twice. Then once you learn the fundamentals and all that, you can do some serious flight simming, like virtual airlines and all that. its really fun! Good luck and i hope you acheive what you want with fs2004! Very Happy www.youngeagles.com

MTF,

YOU, are not the gaurdian of this site, never was or will be. You have no right in telling somebody where to post what, where. That is the job of the Moderators.

Some people are new here, and don't know what to post where. By you criticizing their posts, they may take it as an unfavorable place to be. You need to worry about yourself first, before you say anything to anyone about their posts.

Remember, your a screenshot critic, not a forum critic. Your hurting the site more than helping it. Watch what and how you say it.

Hey! Hey! Hey! ardie I think your going a little over the line.
I mean why is it wrong to say if its in the wrong forum
and maybe you should think before you say
something about
"YOU, are not the gaurdian of this site, never was or will be"
and I doubt Myth was trying to critisize people
maybe you should worry about yourself before YOU
say anything

Alright guys, this has gotten way out of hand. Who really cares what forum this was posted in. I mean seriously. The mods will take care of it. I dont think anyone has answered to the guys post yet because you are all worried about who is posting what, and where and how they are posting it. Cmon people. It's not a big deal. Now lets get this back on topic.

Livin737,

This is not the first time that MTF has done this. He has done this to other posts. He makes himself as the Moderator for the site, and he is not. Reread what I said.

If anybody over-reacted, it is you. But not knowing what has been going on, on other posts, I understand where you are coming from.

Ping,

I respect what you are saying and agree. But a line has to be drawn and/or a comment needs to be said to the children (under 18 yrs), that need to know where their place is as far as this site is concerned, and how to do it correctly.

wdoreza,

If you go to the forums section, and go to fs2004, you will find the post you are looking for. Not exactly sure where, but is there somewhere.

Sorry this had to be seen/done. Good Luck.

rd - I understand where your coming from.

wdoreza - Who are you referring to? I re-read your post and it seems as though your replying to someone. Did you push a wrong button? LOL.

Ping,

He is replying to a person (don't know who now). The original thread was about his mom not letting him keeping with his flying lessons. I tried to find it but couldn't. Don't know where it went under, sorry. But there is one on this subject.

The topic is called 'Parents' and is three floors down from this one.

I take Ardie's point and side on this one. Actually don't even consider Myth to be a critic of the s/s forum seeing as he doesn't know what a good shot is and what one needs to do to take a good shot in FS. I mean to be a critic you gotta know what you are talking about don't ya?

This topic is in the correct forum, that is why it hasn't been moved. Leave the Moderating to Admin/Mods...

Livin737,

Sorry man, but you need to go to the topic that Exx said. You'll get the idea of what this thread is about.

No harm, no foul.
