got this from a site on the C-17:
"Cargo Compartment - Capacity: 18 fully-loaded 463L-type cargo pallets (88" x 108" @ 10,000 pound (4,536kg) capacity); up to 40 containers for Container Delivery System (CDS) airdrops; 102 troops; 48 litter and 54 ambulatory patients and attendants; three AH-64A Apache helicopters; one main battle tank; three Bradley armored vehicles. (A combination of pallets and wheeled vehicles can be carried together when required.)
Able to accommodate nearly 100 percent more cargo volume than the C-141B Starlifter, the C-17 can carry virtually all of the Army's air-transportable, outsized combat equipment. It is also able to airdrop paratroopers and cargo. All cargo is loaded through a large ramp/door assembly in the rear of the aircraft. "

sorry, my fault, yes, Up-Chuck is right, te C-17 is the Globemaster and the cargomaster is a completely different plane. A pretty weird one i would say.
Sorry and thanks for helping me correct myself |

The C-133 by Douglas was the "Cargomaster". While we're on the subject of c-17's, does anyone know where I could download a freeware model of that aircraft that doesn't have the problem of the fans disappearing when thrust reversers are activated? Thanks in advance..... |

Yeah, there is, but i've read that some couldn't get the gear to show, and the download description say's the engines are "hollow" while in reverse. I know it's freeware, and some might say take it or leave it. I was just curious if anyone had happened to find one without those set backs. |

If you want it, send $19.99 US dollars to RD@mybank.com
