Whenever I apply throttle and release brakes my plane goes in circles, no matter which way I move the controls. I have deleted all flight assignments and reconfigured a dozen times, I have recalibrated a million times, making sure the little dial wheel on the controller is centered, I have tried it with the ch software and without it. I am at my wits end, please can someone help me out??
by the way this controller is brand new. its a flight sim yoke usb

| For starters, please name your topic with a meaningful title.......and my suggestion is that you dont treat the takeoff process like a carrier catapult launch, release the brakes and bring up the throttles gently, all that torque is most likely what is throwing you to the curve. As in a car, if you just jam the throttle down, you will likely spin out.......please reference the basic laws of nature (physics) as that is what is being modeled in Flight Simulator. |

sorry for the title miscue. I do apply gentle throttle up, but it does not matter how slow or how fast I apply throttle up, the plane begins an immediate bank right into a circle, and not amount of turning the controls will keep it straight. |

Try turning down the SENSITIVITY settings on your RUDDERS. Move the slider all way to the Left. |

| I had the same problem....in my case , I found out that only one engine was started, hence..I went round in circles. Are all engines on when you start to roll? |

On the off chance that you saved a default flight with the controls set wrong, go to your Fs9.cfg, rename it to Fs9.cfg.old and then (being certain that your controller is centered) restart FS to create a new default cfg file with all the settings restored to default startup positions and see if the problem still exists. The Fs9.cfg is located in C:/documents and settings/(your name)/application data/microsoft/FS9........
note: you must have "show hidden folders and files" on to see the application data folder. |

yup, sometimes its one engine's started, or that you selected one of the engines and lets say before you select it, the throttle was at 0%, then after you select it and put up the throttle on your joystick, only the engine selected will go up to 100% throttle. that makes the plane spin, but in cobbbbbs place, it's deffientely not that because its a cessna with 1 engine......weird |

Get FSUIPC freeware version and select 'fix control acceleration'. Pete Dowson utilities if you Google it.
