I posted this before but it seems to have disappeared.... (If it was deleted for a rason please tell me:P).
Anyway, I've never played FS2002 online, I don't know how to join a game also neither do I know what it's like.
Can anyone shed some light?
Cheers. |

| First, do you have a high speed connection to the internet? You can do it with dial up, but the lag time is terrible and many people dont like it that way. Dial up isnt too bad when two people link up to fly with each other. Details on using mulitplayer are in the FS help in the program. Get a buddy, find out what your IP is and what your buddy's IP is and learn the basics of connecting to and hosting a multiplayer session. Once you have that down, then you can move up to the big servers and get involved. It also helps to go into your settings and limit the frame rate to 20-25 as a courtesy to the bandwidth of the people you will fly online with. |
