Hi All,
Now that I am back up and running. I would like some help from the many of you that use free-ware addon scenery. I lost all mine. Alot of you have awesome scenery, and would like to get some of them to really bring out my new card and just to enjoy the views.
Any and all help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

| Well, it's a lot of work, but if you like zipping around the land down under, check out NZScenery. Also, take the time to get better mesh for more realistic land contours. |

Hey RD
I'm going out of town this weekend, and getting ready to hit the sack. I will e-mail you with the scenery files I have Sunday evening when I get back. This, along with the other input between now and then should help you out. I would do it now, but it would take some time to get the list together, and my eyes are getting heavy. My list will be of airports only. I don't have any of the huge file size scenery meshes. Not enough space on my tiny hardrive.... My other suggestion would be to look through the scenery files for the ones you remember you had before, download and enable them in the mean time. Lortiahawk mentioned Hong Kong Intl., and that's a very nice file by Thomas Kwong. You'll also want TNCM by Delblond Christian (juliana2.zip). I'm sure you'll enjoy that one. |

Thanks B-man,
I would would appreciate your BEST 5 airports. I still have my old zip files. Only problem is, I know there are better ones out there. I did use some of my old ones, for some of them are awesome. But I would like to have, lets say, YOUR top 5. And yes, I noticed some new ones on TNCM in the s/s. Thanks buddy, I owe you a few.
Lorti,
Thanks man, no problem, just wasn't sure. All is good.
GS,
Dude, they have some awesome scenery and meshes. Thank you very much for the site. I will be going there more often to see what they have. So far, very impressed with the one d/l I got from them. And thier 20 mesh, holy cow!!!
Thanks all. You have no idea how much this helps me.

If you want realism...check out P. Nigel Grant's CYVR version 4. It is so realistic it's not even funny. Available at Avsim. Also, there are a couple of links to some great heavy-duty freeware sites in our Scenery forum Ardie...you won't be dissapointed...

Thanks Exx,
Problem is, I don't know what is good and not good. Thats why I put this up. I honestly don't know what/who to look for, for awesome scenery. I don't have the time to test them first. Then find out I don't like it. or it's not that detailed. so on and so on.
If anybody in the know ( I know who has what and is dependable ) has awesome scenery, hopefully they will let me know. This time, I am asking for help to save time. Hopefully it will come down to the old adage, " I scratched your back, how about scratching mine."
I would love to get it here!! I just don't know what to look for exactly in the downloads. Thats all.
