Has anyone had the problem with a landing AI aircraft after it turns off the runway to overshoot the hold short line? I have a problem with one at KLEX. I am attaching a picture. Please note that the hold short is indeed there the pilot just chose to ignore it. I have no problems with smaller aircraft. Ie Lear, King Air, Fokker 100 etc...
Any ideas?

Use AFCAD to check the nodes and links...probably incorrect. If that doesn't turn up an error then you are probably going to have to deal with it. AI has a mind of it's own (or lack thereof) and sometimes those idiots do whatever they please.

If AI A/C overshoot hold short nodes, the hold short node is either too close to the runway, or is actually on the runway.
Get AFCAD2, find the offending node, and try moving it away from the runway a little. Just remenber not to move it beyond the 225' limit from the center line of the runway or you'll have new hold short problems.

| I had always thought that the hold short lines were for aircraft entering the runway. they're also for aircraft exiting the runway?

| You are correct pilotwannabe, but with AFCAD, those nodes can cause AI A/C to act weird sometimes.
