AP/AT is on when you start the flight? If so, shut them down, setup your flight as you wish for it to start then save it as the default flight via menu in FS. Shut down FS and restart. Should be where you left off last...

As well as what exx said, i'd also try re-calibrating your joystick every time you start FS. I know I have that problem with my saitek cyborg joystick, as the thrust levers always start at 50% and the rudder to the right.

Are you sure all engines are up? Not just one side? Does it happen on all aircraft or just a select few?

I wonder what causes it, or is it just an annoying little bug?

Check the cable of the jstick...see if it's binding or kinked. Wiggle it around and see what happens...

Almost every plane on my flight sim (2004) has a tendency to bank to either the left or right, acting like the ailerons aren't level. I've been fighting this for quite some time now. Anybody know any cures?
