You can never have too much RAM.


or too much processor or too much hard drive space or too much power supply capacity or too much video RAM or too much case cooling or ......

Just get good quality ram, and match it with the one you have already. Take the stick of ram with you when shopping (put it in an anti-static bag and ground yourself when removing/installing it).
