I think it would be extremely interesting, perhaps even helpful as a learning tool if there were some place on the SurClaro site for pilots to submit short stories about some of their Simulation Flying Experiences. Submissions would no doubt have to be limited in size and scope.

Today I had something of a terrifying situation occur during an executive helicopter flight from KLAX Los Angeles to KAVX Catalina in heavy fog. Out of respect to the operators of this site, I won't go into further detail, but I would certainly enjoy having a forum associated with the SurClaro site where I might be able to submit a brief "Tale Of Suspense And Terror".

If such a forum could be developed, perhaps there could be some kind of citation or award given out for the best stories of the week, month, year, etc.

Its just a suggestion, something I personally would like to see incorporated into the site. No'one else is doing it to the best of my knowledge, so it would be kind of cool to be the first to open up such a venue.

What says yourselves?

Respectfully, Jae

Thank you for your response rd. Respectfully, the Missed Approach Forum is not exactly what I had in mind. I have something much larger in scope, in mind.

Maybe I'm blind, but no where on this site do I see anything like a Pilot's Lounge. Could this be because I am not yet a "card carrying, paid subscriber?.

Can you kindly provide me with a link to the Pilot's Lounge?

Jae
