I'm surprised no-one's commented on the KoorbyGen Lite release made available here and elsewhere recently. It was (and still is, I think) a part of the Bird's Eye View package recently launched and now Koorby has 'let it fly' so to speak. KoorbyGen is a pretty sweet autogen replacement set with wicked night textures and some real nice work overall. All I know is that even in FS2002 the difference (with my densities set to extremely dense) is very very cool. You can only really install one of the 2 sets of buildings in FS2002 but I personally am really enjoying the day and night low and slow stuff over the suberbs around cities very much. It's hard to describe but the detail and variation are superb. If you try it out just back up your autogen building files and replace them with Koorby's and take a spin accross the sprawl on the way to New York City, at about 60 feet agl, day and night. BTW, thanks Koorby, for the improvement. |
