I have another problem Laughing

Sometimes (most of the time Shocked

) when i play my plane drifts off to one side or the other usually the left. Its not crosswinds cuz i did it on all clear weather, still does it
I try to counteract it but it always is just a little too much and will go the other direction i havnt try autorudder but will it help?
anyone have any suggestions?

first of all tell me what do u use for rudder control when flying? Second yes try auto rudder and see. 3rd does this happen in all of ur aircrafts or just some paricular one/s?

you know..... it doesnt have to be the crosswinds... say you put a normal car on the runway and held the steering wheel really really still in center position... its still going to move off, right? nothing is perfect... airplanes arnet perfect either

This is a broad subject. Here are two things you can try for a "temporary" solution to your problem. Try them for a few days and then make appropriate adjustments as you become more familiar with your Yoke or Joy Stick. Cool

Move your sliders to the far left in REALISM/FLIGHT MODEL.

Move the Rudder Sensitivity slider to the "left" in OPTIONS/CONTROLS/SENSITIVITY.

Another thing to try it to turn off your "Num Lock" key and tap the 5 key in the 10 key section to center the controls then turn the "Num Lock" back on.

FS deserves atleast $30 spent a good flight stick anyway!! lol Wink

If you're flying a single engine prop this is normal behavior i believe

I have the same problem with my FS, Im not sure but I think it may be the yaw(?) effect, which you can turn off in the settings, which is caused by the spinning of the engines. I like to have the realism setting to high(ish) so I just put a bit of right rudder on. You can buy a twist joystick quite cheaply, mine is very good and cost roughly £30, from the BT website with free delivery (don't ask me why they were selling joysticks).

Yes it does it for everplane
no i use a very expensive joystick
I just tried to fly the extra and it wont go strait -.-
its not just a bit left or right...
it goes in a circle i cant fly like that!
plz help, oh and no i didnt resolve it

Well what kind of joystick do you use?...the Saitek X45 (which has the separate throttle column, twist stick, and lots more features)? something a little better?

If you dont have a twist stick...you might want to program your key assignments for the rudder to be controled by the left/right arrow keys on your keyboard. I just started doing this...and it works like a charm when your taxiing. if you dont turn off your auto rudder for this...you can still taxi using the arrow keys, you just wont be abe to steer efficiently when you get beyond 40 KIAS. That is where your stick comes in.

If you do have the twist stick...then try this trick and see wht happens
