i will tell you what...if you are willing to spend some of your time to come onto Teamspeak tomorrow...i will give you a tutorial on the ILS approach.
This is the Instrument Landing System.
i have helped countless people with their ILS probs...so i dont think you would be any different.
But there is a little bit of a downer ...you must first start out in a small Cessna 172. this will be the easiest way to work with the ILS.
i have been studying...as well as flying the ILS APR. for years...so you could call me an "expert without the wings".
The server you will need to go to is:
FSSF.ZAPTO.ORG
WHAT EVER YOU DO...D O N T SIGN ON AS "GUEST 1", for this irritates the crap out of the CEO of the server, and this will most likely get you kicked from the server...sign in as "Taxi 2"...this way i can recognize you.
I will be looking foreward to seeing you, as well as teaching you!!

I am verry sorry for this post being late...but i could not get the original email sent out to you for some odd reason...but this i what the original message said.
OK, i will give you a BASIC rundown of the ILS APR.
It will be short...mainly because explaining it via email...well it would take too long...its easier if i can explain it with me speaking to you.
NOW THEN...
It really depends on what kind of weather you are flying in, that determines whether or not you will fly IFR (Instrument Flight Rules)...or VFR (Visual Flight Rules). This is just like what commercial pilots do (except we are using a flight simulator...lol).
It just so happens to be...that the ILS (Instrument Landing System) is classified under IFR.
now...to use the ILS, there are some things you have to do...first of which...you need to type in the ILS Frequency into the NAV I Radio on your RADIO STACK. Then you need to activate the NAV I RADIO, so you can hear a MORSE CODE signal. For the airport i hope to teach you at the MORSE CODE signal sounds like this:
- -
_ _ -
-_-
_-_
(my morse code is kinda bad...but i think you get the basic idea)
then you need to put in the COURSE HEADING into the COURSE box.
THEN you need to input the altitude you will intercept the localizer.
ok, i have the TEAMSPEAK CLIENT that you need to talk with me...you do need a microphone though.
you can get teamspeak from this site:
http://www.goteamspeak.com/index.php?page=downloads&id=1
Just click agree...then a little screen will pop up with the options "RUN" or "SAVE"......Click "RUN"
Then when you have installed it...click on the TeamSpeak icon, and at the top click...connection....then quick connect...then type in the server address as:
FSSF.ZAPTO.ORG
DONT SIGN ON AS "GUEST I"!!!
I am looking foreward to helping you further.
