Check out this link from Crucial.
http://www.crucial.com/index.asp
Scroll down the left side and click on the Icon for SYSTEM SCANNER.
Take a look a the the resulting display on the left side to see what Memory the Scanner detects. |

Your computer currently has 1024 MB of memory installed; and will support up to 16384 MB.
That is what the test said. But all 3 sticks a locked, could one be a dud?
This is how i have my memory aranged
Dimm-2 old memory
Dimm 1 & 3- New dual-channel memory (it is not picking up dimm 3) |

Try switching Memory Boards 1 and 3. Run the Crucial test again and see if it ignores Memory Board "one" this time.
If it ignores Memory Board "one" this time, that is an indication that you have a defective memory board. If it ignores Memory Board "three" again then I would suspect a problem with your mother board. |
