I just finished downloading my first plane for MFS2002Pro; an F-14. But it doesn't include a readme with the .zip file and I was just wondering if someone could tell me where to extract the files to. Thanks! Very Happy

Seifer- Notice how many people here read your posts but don't offer any help?

Somewhere in download files here, there is a program you can get for free. It is called Flightzip. This installs aircraft incredibly easily. it sees only zip files to begin installation. Highlite the zip file you just downloaded and hit the install button. It's done!

If you can't find it, PM me. I'll give you my e-mail addy. You can then give me yours and I'll send you and copy and help with anything else you need. If you are afraid of viruses, my mail is protected incoming and outgoing both and is automatically updated for current virus protection.

In the meantime, do this.... Do you have winzip? Which version? 8.1? Good! If you have an older version like 5.6..... not good. Get the new one.
Notice in the aircraft zip file there are paths where each file is to go. open up your main folder in FS2k2. many suggest using Windows Explorer. I just use 'my computer' because I'm used to it. open the aircraft folder. *beep* plane already there. Open its folder. Among other junk you will see sub folders, namely model, panel, sound, texture, and a cfg file.

Back to Winzip: hit extract. This new window has windows in it. Expanding tree of your hard drive, "use folder names" box, and some other choices. Make sure the "use folder names" box is checked, and "use all files" is checked. Expand to FS2k2 main folder then hit extract. it's done.

PM me for any other help with this or anything. jyd
