I purchased msfs 2002 (not pro, just regular) and am kinda bored with flying those aircraft, I see a ton of add on aircraft that I would love to use, however, being new to this I do not know how to import those aircraft, could some one please help me and possibly tell me how to download some (or even a lot) of those aircraft that I see out there...I would greatly appreciate it...Thank you for your time...fellow arm-chair pilots.

Hey, I am pretty new here too. I just downloaded an F16 though, and it is awesome!! Go to FS2002 downloads, then go to [top rated], and on the front page find the f16c5015.zip file. I downloaded an F14 but then deleted it because the cockpit looked unrealistic, and the F16 owns the F14 Rolling Eyes . Anyway, download it, and give it a kick! Have fun! Very Happy

I'm rather new, but I have been learning a lot lately. There's much to learn in FS2k2. btw- while others are off shooting at each other in planes, you are learning how to fly. One of my ski customers is a commercal pilot. He has this sim. He is truly impressed with it and says it is very realistic.

Aircraft installing- Each aircraft folder has sub folders- model, texture, panel, sound. When you open an archive you see many zip files with paths most often. Hit extract and make sure this window has the little boax called 'use folder names' checked. In the window which has this box is a tree window. Expand this to FS2k2 main folder. Click once on aircraft. Now hit extract. 99% of the time everything will be created for you. This is using Winzip.

On Surclaro here, find must have files, I think is where it is at) and there you will find flightzip.exe. This is a great aircraft installation program. It is free.

Please feel free to PM me for detailed help. There are some incredible planes and or sceneries I can share with you and/or help with installation.
