I have rescently tried out an upgraded version of the original Beechcraft Baron: Beech Baron 58TC (Turbo Normalized). I found it quite amazing in the improvements it had from the original Baron.
To know more about the Beech Baron 58TC, read the quote from the description from Brett Henderson:
Quote:
This Beech Baron 58TC is the turbonormalized version of the classic light twin. The Baron 58TC is the spiffed-up version of a time-tested favorite, made more modern by its new Teledyne/Continental Special engines, with GAMI injection for an ultra smooth running, high performance engine. The Baron "Tornado Alley Turbo" normalizer ensures that you optain sea level performance all the way up to 25,000 ft. Turbonormalized engines differ from traditional turbocharged engines in that they do not boost at sea level but progressively add boost as the aircraft gains altitude. This means that the system maintains sea level engine performance up to ceiling, but does not suffer the risk of over boost, or increased internal pressure associated with normal turbo systems. With the benefit of GAMI injectors as well you can fly faster, further and for less fuel that a conventional Beech.

It flew very nicely faster than the normal Baron. It had the exact same power in both RPM and Fuel Flow as it does at sea level, just like it says in the quote. But I tried to lower the Mixture controls to a very low level, even then it still was boosted to max.
Is this really how the real Baron 58TC handles/does??
Thanx a great lot!

Just go to Avsim.com and type in "Baron 58TC" in the search folder. The last one is it.
Enjoy!
