I was just wondering... why is the grass looking like green aluminum foil? its just way too shiny! is there a way to fix this?
sometimes it lookes shiny, sometimes it looks a little bit shiny, and somethimes it looks perfect!

but if you look at the shot TFISH065, it looks like the grass is shining and glowing or something!!!

to me it looks just burnt. but realistic. could perhaps use some anisotrophic filtering.

This looks very much like a scenery download I saw a few weeks ago...Did you download an FX file? If so...did it come with a 'back up' texture file? Had something similar happen to me with water textures and I had to do a search of the FS9 disks to find the original files..they were on disk 4..'senery-world-texture' file. Hope this may help but Im still prity much a 'newbie' still

first off, does the texture of the grass change at various airports, or do you only fly out of 1 airport. If it changes with the airport, then maybe 1 airport has a better virtual grounds keeper than the other ones do.

the 1st shot has some really nice grass, nice and lush. where as the following 2 looks like it is dead grass in the middle of the winter. my bet is, it has to do with the airport you are flying in and out of.. if that is the case, not much (that i know of) that you can do about it.

Only the middle one looks there may be a problem. The other two look very good.

Im just a newbie....but I do know that this IS a download. Ive searched EVERYWHERE for it but with no luck..Please if anyone knows where I can find this download...please tell me where I can download it. I remember seeing the grass in the pictures above..eg..realistic 3d grass that I think from memory sways in the breeze, at least I think it does but I maybe wrong. I should have downloaded it when I first found it at a site that listed new downloads...but I cannot rember where! I really like the look of the grass in the above pics so PLEASE...if anyone knows where I can get it please can you give me the link....once again the 'slow' Aussie
