| I downloaded davstear1.zip (David Eckert's PT-17 Stearman) and found that the VC gauges are missing. I opened the panel cfg file and as far as I can tell everything looks fine. The VC section of the panel cfg file uses the same gauges as the 2-D panel so its not an issue of me not having the gauge files. The rest of the VC textures are there but the gauges are missing. I tired downloading the same package from vairious site and overwriting the existing files but the gauges don't appear in any of them. Any ideas or solutions? |

Thanks GroundSquirrel. I just downloaded this Stearman and gave it a test flight. I love this aircraft. The engine sounds are fantastic.
My neighbor had a Garage Sale about two weeks ago. I bought a book callled the CANNIBAL QUEEN. It is about an ex US Air Force Pilot who bought a Stearman and flew it around the United States stopping in each of the continental 48 states. He flew to half of the states with his 15 year old son and the other half by himself. He called the aircraft CANNIBAL QUEEN because it drinks a lot of fuel. It was a fantastic book to read. I had a hard time putting it down.
PS: I will be driving over to SUN-N-FUN next weekend. Does GroundSquirrel have any plans to get away from under cars for a couple of days to drive down to my part of the state? |
