As far as I know there is no way to mess with ai aircraft. Those far more knowledgable might know of a way. Progressive taxiing... taking off it follows pretty well. Landing, sometimes you are sent right across the whole field. If there is no other traffic happening to get in the way, perhaps this is what FS does. Don't know.

What error messages are you getting?

aha! Are there any white patches anywhere? Even away from the airport?

What version of Winzip are you using? There are files missing or not loaded. Some scenery downloads have no textures to load but you have to have a texture folder in the scenery even though it is empty.

Another possibility......... when loading or activating a scenery in settings, scenery library, before hitting OK make sure the box is checked that says- use this file directly. (says somehting like that). jyd lemme know! Wink

Nope.... In the settings library, find leeds. highlite it and hit edit scenery.
when leeds shows up in the new box, click on scenery sub folder and use that one. Before you hit OK, make sure that "use this file directly" is checked. Try it, lemme know.

Also, write to the author. he/she will give yu a patch to get rid of this messages if everything is running ok. Who wrote Leeds? Is it Iain Gallagher? he is very helpful with stuff.

Newst version of Winzip is 8.1. Find your version- open it, hit help hit 'about winzip'.

Hi
Now I migth be stating the obvious, but ai traffic and taxi instructions depend upon the AFD definition of the airport. Until now ALL my problems with weird taxi instructions, unnamed towers, missing AI Traffic and traffic taking off/taxiing off taxiways and runways has been down to faulty AFD files.
If there were no updat of the AFD file when you installed Leeds, it is propably using the default layout to control taxi directions and traffic but displaying the new scene.

Try checking it with AFDCAD.

Swan

Swan has a good point. In a new scenery when I ask for progressive taxi instructions and see the pink line. That pink line will go right through some of the new buildings as if they weren't there. SO I tried it once just for giggles. Sure enough, I went right through the new buildings as if they weren't there. FS doesn't see them. it's not a big problem with me. I'm just happy to get the scenery showing up right.

Reading the capt's post (cptbozza) it seems he is saying that in addon scenery/Leeds in FS main, he has a sub folder called texture but no scenery sub folder. That will give a lot of scenery error messages. If I read and understood this right, he should create a sub folder called scenery and make sure all his bgl files pertaining to Leeds are in there. If this is the case, he can e-mail me. I'll I'll send him the bgl files if he is missing them. jyarddog@spiritone.com
