Hi Neighbor:
I live in Largo, Florida. Where exactly are you located?
I appreciate the offer to help me build a powerful setup.
I anticipate waiting on spending any more money on my computer until after I learn how my current setup will perform with FSX.
I assembled my current computer and do not anticipate any problems when and if I decide to upgrade to a duel processor. It all depends on how FSX runs on my sytem. |

Oops!!
Sorry, Dan.... I meant Groundsquirrel... he's just down the highway from me.
I'm up in the Panhandle, not five minutes from Eglin AFB.
(Of course, anywhere in the panhandle is close to Eglin, it's so darn big) |

| I live midway between Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach in Navarre, and yes, everyday is an air show for us. We also get rocked to sleep with noise from the munitions at the ranges. Dont forget, FSUIPC, get it, learn it, love it. |

GS, my favorite has to be the A-10 range, which is just northeast of my house.
It starts with a chuka chuka sound as the gun winds up.
Then you hear a deep whirring, almost a vibration in the air.
Finally the ground shakes with many small thuds as those massive bullets hit the ground.
It's also cool to sit on the beach and watch the dogfight training... especially when they launch the flares. |
