Hi,

I have a problem and hoping that it shall get solved here, lol.

My FS2002 has a different language that is french and i don't understand it at all. Is there anything that i could do to change the language to English or get a translation while playing the game..Please do something please...

I think you may have to reinstall, and make sure it says ENGLISH during the install under language.

Thanks alot Paul for replying man, I can't tell you how happy I am really.

No i don't have any options for the language, it ONLY has Francaise and not English and there should be way to change it to English Language. I have been searching for this simulation game alot and then i got it from a friend of mine coz it's a problem to get this game here..

Please friends, there should be anyone with the solution.

Personally i have 2004, but I cant imagine its too different from 2002. Ive had a look and I cant find any way to change the language from within the game, sorry. Is there any reason that your version is French? Where are you (country?).

There is definately no options of changing the language. I'm in Tanzania buddy but the guy who has given this to me is from Madagascar if not mistaken. Maybe there would be a file to replace or change you know. Or any translation thingy during the game.

Is fs04 way different than fs02? i mean what's so different. I have got fs2004 but it has got some corrupt cabinets in it ie MSGAME8.CAB and don't know any other after that, lol.

Well....both of you have danced around the issue so I will put you out of your misery. Flight Simulator was offered in quite a few language editions due to it's popularity. Unfortunately there is no way to simply change the language of the installed game. You will need an english language copy. One option is to see if Microsoft is willing to exchange your french language version for an english language version.

OR if you know someone in the USA, you could possibly talk them into buying 2002 or 2004 for you, and shipping it to you, then you pay the person back once you get it (including shipping fees)
