I have contacted the designer and there is no answer. I am not sure what to do. If anyone has gotten them to work please let me know.

It sounds like you are going into your add-on scenery for the a/p (airport).
You shouldn't have to do that. If you start FS9, go to settings and add the area, then shut it down, then restart it, it should have built the new scenery. Then you can go to that a/p as a standard airport, like KLAX or any other.
Try doing that, and let me know what happens.

OK, lets try this. Did you create a folder named "KSAN"??? If not, then this is what you need to do.
Create a new folder inside the Addon Scenery folder in FS9. Then name it "KSAN". Now take the scenery and texture folders from the download, and put them inside the "KSAN" folder.
Now start FS9, go to settings, and go into the scenery library. Go to Add Area, then just highlight "KSAN". Then exit out (close) FS9. Now restart it and it should give you a box saying updating scenery files, or something like that. After it's done, you should be good to go.
BTW, do you have the link for the original files. The link provided is a download. I would like to see the info file if possible.

| anouther thing I just didn't think anything of is that i get a pop up every time I start the sim saying, "You do not have permission to install new files on this computer. Please have an administrator log on to complete the scenery installation." I am the administrator on this machine. |

I wouldn't think that would matter if your the admin or not. But you might want to change your settings so that you are the admin.
Also, You posted the same link, the download. I would like to see where you got it from, if possible.

You don't need to create any new folders. Simply open the zip file, copy/paste the Eaglesoft FBO folder into your FS9/ADDON SCENERY folder.
Start FS and go to SETTINGS/SCENERY LIBRARY. Click on ADD AREA and navigate to the Eaglesoft FBO folder, click ok. Look at the scenery list and make sure the file you just added is at the top of the list, if not, move it there. You'll get a warning on the Scenery Library screen telling you to close and restart FS, do it.
When it restarts, you'll see it building the new scenery database.
Go to SETTINGS/SCENERY and make sure the ADDON SCENERY box is checked and move the slider all the way to the right (extremely dense).
Go to CREATE a FLIGHT, click "SEARCH ADDON SCENERY". You should see 5 entries for Hanger (San Diego, Denver, Portland...). Pick which one you want to start at, and that's it. |
