one question, why does the platform say windows xp? It runs on Vista. But it could have been posted wrong.
Look at this...

the TRUTH about Flight Sim X, straight from Microsoft... ( I called them myself and asked about this program )

The operating platform is WINDOWS XP HOME or PROFESSIONAL... but to get FULL advantages out of this software, you will need Windowds Vista, at least a Pent 4, 2 Gigs of Ram, about 2-3 Gigs on your harddrive, and possibly an ATI Raideon (sp?) graphics card.

It will however still run on older machines that are at least 3-5 years old, such that are using a Pent 2, at least 1 gig ram, dvd player, 2 Gigs free on harddrive, and a "middle to lower class" video/graphics card for those people that don't want, or cant afford to go out and buy a system for just Games / Simulators.

Both Amazon and EBgames have different release dates. So guess what, they are both guessing when it will come out.

Microsoft says it will be released around this years holidays. Meaning Nov or Dec. If it moves up, they will let you know by visiting this link: http://www.fsinsider.com/articles/flight_simulator_x_faq.htm .

Everything else is bogus. And is not breaking news, sorry.

I really think that you'all should stop playing the lottery on when the FSX will be released. When it is ready to be released, Microsoft will be the first to let you know.

The Beta Test team is working hard to support Microsoft.Cool Cool
