| Is it possable to shutdown an airport in FS9 to prevent AI aircraft from landing at the airport? |

Yes it is quite simple to do ok first you need to have basic knowledge in AI but ok download ttools if you dont have it already then decompile the traffic it will make 3 files Aircraft,airports,Flighplns, Open up the flighplans you will see alot of numbers now this is the problem dpending of how much ai u have going to the airport u will have to find all the enteries for the airport so it will be something like AC#7575: .... CYYZ
so you will have to delete all CYYZ for example
then just press compile at ttools and thats it ,,
If you are using Ultimate traffic then open up traffic 2005 editor the click airport edit put in the code and click close airport, i think ther is also a way usinf AFCAD to do this but im not sure to much. |

Yes it can be done.
The easiest way to do it is with AFCAD. You can use it to open the a/p and then click on the runway ( or all runways ) and close them to all landings and take offs. This will effectively close that airport.
