Since I am a member of the FSX Beta Test team, I did not see any need to download the Demo. If I had downloaded the demo and listened to Hal's comments then perhaps I would have been a lot smarter. I apologize for my previous comments about listening to rumors.
I met Hal at the National AOPA Conference in Tampa Florida. During our lengthy discussion, Hal invited me to join the Beta Test Team. If Hal stated that FSX will be released by the first week of October, then that is good enough for me. |

Downloaded the demo which took almost 2 hours to d/l and install.
To get the cockpit view you have to change to it in VIEWS which is a p i t a.
I like the fact one can use the mouse during ATC requests
Like others said slow and choppy however it is a DEMO.
Scenery is much improved (my opinion) and SXM looks more like St.Maarten than it did/does in previous versions.
Not really impressed with the bombing scenario -
I'll bide my time on purchasing this edition until I upgrade my RAM to 2 gig and MS etal iron out most of the ?bugs? |
