I am going to remove myself from this topic and tune back in six months or more. You'all can jump up and down on Daddy's bed all you want asking for money to buy Vista and the early release of DX10 Graphics cards.
I suspect that there will be hundreds of benchmarks over the next several months.
I suspect that there will be plenty more DX10 compatible Graphics cards released.
I suspect that there will be several patches for Vista.
Looks like Im going to wait until April until I decide to upgrade to Vista and a DX10 card.
April seems a nice choice, as Vista comparisons and test results and more information will be out, as well as patches, drivers, compatibility, and/or functionality will have been tested and patched (I hope). It should allow those mentioned to be done until that time.
Also, my planned ATI R600 card will not support DDR4 memory until somewhere in March. So that should give it enough time to improve and mature as well. See how other cards stack up and benchmarks keep coming in! When all those are in, then I should be able to make the choices.
Any further news about Vista or new hardware? Please share!
