Several posts here do explain that, sadly, not much of anything outside of CFS3 is compatable with it. I think Microsoft had a bit of a brain fart with CFS3 regarding model and file structure selection. Just stuff I read, I don't have the sim, so someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Doesn't work in reverse, either...I wanted that CFS3 add-on G-Wing StarWars fighter something bad, but no way was that gonna work in FS!

just being stupid for a second, are you trying to add FS2002 / 2004 aircraft to CFS3, or to FS9??

next is, what aircraft is it that you are trying to load?

unfortunately, most aircraft are not going to be compatible with CFS3 from AVSim, Surclaro, Simviation... unless it says that it is specifficly for CFS3. sorry. whoever the designers are that are making the planes, they are only making them for FS2002 AND FS9 / 2004, and to not work with CFS3.

CFS3 is own its own workings. NO a/c from CFS1-2, as well as the other FS's ( FS98, 2000,2002, 2004 ) are going to work.

You HAVE to get CFS3 a/c.
