Hey all,

This joystick I have seriously needs to be troubleshooted. It is always off-from-the-center EVEN AFTER I caliberated it. And that is just getting in the way of my flights!! My joystick needs either

1) repair
2) new drivers
or
3) replacement

I cannot live with this current situation. The pointer at caliberation is always to the left.
Where can i get new drivers for my THRUSTMASTER Top Gun Fox 2 Pro?

Thanx.

Captain El,

Apparently there are no drivers according to the manufacturer. Information below copied from www.Thrustmaster.Com. I don't know how handy you are with working on electronic devices, but I would not be afraid to open up the joystick base and take a look inside. Maybe there is something loosened that you can fix. I would give this a shot before purchasing a new stick.

Sorry for the bad news. Hope this helps to some degree.

Jaeg-

No drivers are required for this device. 2003-05-06

This device is fully compliant with the "Human Interface Device" specifications.

We have developed the device in such a way that it will be recognize under the Microsoft Operating systems (Windows 98 series, Me, 2000 and Windows XP) as an "HID compliant Game Device".

By simply connecting your Thrustmaster game controllers to the computer’s USB port, it will become available in Windows Game Controller / Gaming Option.

The drivers provided by Microsoft will ensure you a perfect compatibility with any games using DirectX technology (100% of today's games!).

Note: If you wish to use advanced functions (Like Axis and Button programming or Keyboard key mapping), the Thrustmapper software is available from the "Software" section. This program will install proprietary drivers to enable such functions.

***IMPORTANT: If your accessory is not installed and/or doesn't work properly by itself first, installing this software won't provide any improvement.***
