My system is only a Pentium 4 2.4g

My graphics card is an NVIDIA GEFORCE FX5200 128meg
(I will be getting either a 256meg or 512meg card soon)

I have 1Gig of Ram
I was wondering whether or not to get MSFS X
My system seems seriously underpowered for the sim but I have downloaded and tried the latest demo and it seems to work fine.
Does the full game need more power than the demo.

I woulg be grateful for any information on the difference in performance of the demo compared to the full sim
Cheers Chris

You have enough horsepower, the question is one of traction. As much RAM as you can stuff in the slots and a good video card will let you run FSX just fine.

Your set up will work just fine. But, because it is a hog, you WILL have to set your sliders almost to minimum, in all aspects. Your ram is fine at 1 gig. What is choking you is your processor and G-card.

It is flyable, you just won't have the scenery that your used to in FS9.

Thanks for the help.

I will get a new graphics card first.

Cheers Chris
