I assumed that you would have tried it before posting again.

Of course it will work. If it works on the Dreamliner, then it will work on the repaint.

Edit by RD: The phantom Editor has returned it seems like. No worries though. I deleted the 2 posts concerning your concerns. Just post back when you have tried moving your panels around.

OK, lets try this. Can you post up the links for the Dreamliner and the Meljet 777 repaint and original. This way I can see what I can do for you.

Well, here's a couple points you may or may not have noticed. The Worldliner is a different model than the British Airways. So they will clash. You have to get the Meljet 777-200 for the BA, while the Worldliner is a 777-240.

But, all is not lost....

On your repaint, in FSX, open the panel folder, then delete everything in it. Then copy/paste what you see below.

[fltsim]
alias=b737_800\panel

This will make your repaint panel work on the default 737-800 and have a fully functional GPS that is in FSX.

My big question is.....How did you get the Worldliner panel/GPS to work when it is aliased to a 777-300, that is not in FSX????

Do you have a 777-300 installed in FSX??? If so, then just copy your Worldliner Panel into your repaint. If not, then do the above.

This is hard to do and explain. I don't know what you have and don't have that I can see right in front of my and have access to. So I don't know what I can and cannot manipulate.

Where did you put your repaint??? I need to know EXACTLY what type and model of Boeing 777 and who made it.

I have read this entire thread at least a dozen times. And honestly, I cannot figure out what your doing wrong.

I recommended you copy your dreamliner panel, and then delete your repaint panel, and then paste your dreamliner panel in its place. If your dreamliner works, then so should your repaint. PERIOD.

So tell me where your having major malfunctions carrying this out.

right, I have found that even the paint kit that has not been painted (white) does not work either.

I am going to say this one last time. And then I am done. Pay very close attention to what I am going to tell you. ( and I will apologize now for shouting, but you are obviously not getting the picture as to what to do)

IF THE DREAMLINER PANEL WORKS IN FSX, THEN GO TO WHERE THE PANEL FOLDER IS. RIGHT CLICK IT. THEN COPY IT, THE COMPLETE FOLDER. THEN OPEN THE REPAINT YOU WANT TO HAVE THE GPS WORKING. NOW DELETE THAT PANEL FOLDER. DO THIS BY HIGHLIGHTING IT, THEN RIGHT CLICKING IT, AND THEN DELETE. THEN RIGHT CLICK, AGAIN, AND HIT PASTE. THIS WILL PUT THE DREAMLINER PANEL FOLDER IN PLACE OF THE REPAINTED ONE THAT DOESN'T WORK. IF IT DOESN'T WORK, THEN YOUR NOT TELLING ME WHAT YOUR DOING WRONG

It is NOT that hard to manipulate files and folders, even in FSX. Do what I said above, and it will work. If not, VERY SORRY, but I can't help anymore.

I did what you said above and it still does not work. can you download the paint kit of the Meljet and put it onto your Flight Simulator X to see if it works on yours?

and you did what I did? (got the correct plane, programmed the GPS to lock onto the flightplan, pressed the NAV/GPS button to GPS, and then pressed BC and APPR)?

If you did, then, It must be a problem with the installation of FSX or my computer. Ill reinstall it in a few weeks.

Thanks for the help!
Thanks!
