hi,
Can you just for fun repaint the deafault B777-300 with British Airways?
I cant find one anywhere. I know there is a meljet but the autopilot doesnt work when I use it. I cant find any other ones. Thanks!
Thanks!

crazy thought, why not trade the panel out on the meljet for the default one that does have a working Autopilot, then you can have your plane and fly it too. lol (sorry for the pun) just a thought.

He needs to open the aircraft config file and enable the a/p from there. This is from the default 777:
[autopilot]
autopilot_available= 1
flight_director_available= 1
default_vertical_speed= 1800.0
autothrottle_available= 1
autothrottle_arming_required= 1
autothrottle_max_rpm = 90
autothrottle_takeoff_ga= 1
Just highlight and substitute only the information shown, not the whole block of text.

oh, yeah I forgot to mention that the meljet I am trying to get to work on is Flight Simulator X. Its just when I create a flight plan and then flick the NAV/GPS switch to GPS and then BC and APPR on and then its supposed to lock on to the GPS flight plan. but when I do this on the meljet it just does nothing and goes in a straight line.

oh, yea, another thing I forgot to mention was that another repaint of the Meljet 777 was the dreamliner and that worked on FSX, could this just be a repaint problem?

Oh heck. Now that makes everything even easier than before. Just copy the panel of the Dreamliner. Then delete the one that won't show up. Then past the Dreamliner one in its place. This way both 777's have the same panel/gauge assembly.

Its not that the panel on the Meljet repaint wont show up, Its jsut the autopilot desnt respond when you press all the right buttons. could your idea still work?

I assumed that you would have tried it before posting again.
Of course it will work. If it works on the Dreamliner, then it will work on the repaint.
