I apologize for venting my frustration in this forum. I was so angry with many failures this past Saturday, that I reinstalled FS9 and reinstalled many files "all day Sunday".
Let's not go off onto the wrong track talking about CLICKING ON THE BOX TO SEND A MESSAGE TO MICROSOFT. The problem is probably not with Microsoft but with me "Mixing and Matching Scenery". Let's get back to discussing REVIEWS . |

Its been awhile I have seen the dreaded shut down messages from MSFS. However, I beleive that Microsoft treats them as "confidential and anonymous." They are (suppossedly) used to make Mircrosoft a "better" system. Or to improve the program or something like that. So you probably wont get a reply. MS doesnt know who sent the message. You don't really thing MS would have a "auto-complaint feature," do you? If you have a crash or something once a week, and so do a million other people, MS would be flooded with tech issues. The would not be able to keep up. So they moste likely figure that the average person does not care/is to lazy to actually talk to MS. And to a large extent, they are completely right. The "alert MS" simply is used for later versions and improvements, not individual assistence. |

For nothing, Skipperdan. I think we all know what it feels like when emotions come over us suggesting to throw our PC out of the window or smashing it against a wall. When I face such situations, my mama keeps telling me I am unbearable...
"...that even my mama thinks that my mind has gone..." Coolio, Gangsta's paradise

Whattabout you making one, lortiawhak? I really appreciate your useful comments, by the way... . I'm just working on A COUPLE of new reviews, and want to upgrade the remaining two old rewiews with screenshots. Besides this, I got a real life with all it's stressing demands.
These are my current non-real life tasks:
1. Performing two transatlantic flights (1 ISA-Test, 1 with current real weather conditions, for data accuracy flown in real time!) with my Concorde each in FS02 and FS04 to investigate fuel consumption and getting the hang of climbing with it (what is not as easy as it may sound).
2. Putting this data with the screenshots and the rest of the prepared review together and posting it.
3. Taking Screenshots with the HAF Bell and the Aerospatiale I reviewed, and testing those planes under FS04, adding this to the old reviews and posting them, contacting the respective authors,
4. Setting up an ILS-Tutorial with screenshots
5. Posting a D I Y guide on how to make default planes flyable
6. Preparing a review of the Katana
7. Preparing a review about the Aeromacchi M339 which I promised to the author
Between this all:
- Learning my lessons
- Helping my sister and her girl friend with the homework
- Occasionaly helping my mom with the housework
- Flying, installing and organising add ons and AI traffic
- Doing forum work, (replying posts, discussing things among the Masters and the Admin, organising interesting contributions and traffic, and, and, and...
- writing to net penpals
- moving to my parents again and evacuating my flat
- Sleeping
And all this for free and on non profit basis!
What are your current tasks, lortiawhak?

| I dont know if it's really pressure or not, I just preserve sidewalks for future generations by keeping everybody's cars and trucks running. In the evenings I feed the racoons and fly FS and the websites while listening to the intellecti pontificate on TV. Then I get to be a husband. When I get depressed about it all, I go shopping. |

I sleep, eat, go to school, study as little as possible, drive drunks around on the weekend for free, play FS, help if I can on surclaro, work on my bike, perserving oil for future generations, and typically put around 40-50+ miles per week on my bike. |

Hey, groundsquirrel, and particulary Insured Disaster, we all know you do enough. But you don't demand for things, that was the point! And overall, this thread was not intended to be a task chat... |
