Can somebody tell me what the hell is going on.
Everytime I enter slew mode the Cessna goes off like a bullit.
At first I though it might have been a joystick conflict so I removed all the joystick slew mode assignments.
If I press p(pause) it stops but thats all.
Help!!! |

Hi no I cant tell you what is going on but it happens to me too.
Sometimes when going OUT of Slew mode the plane goes off with 250 knots.
Must be yet another bug in FS2002 or maybe it is a facility to launch a spaceship
Well we'll just have to stop cheating |

I cured it by temporary turning off the joystick in the options!
Try it with a drivable object!
I did a quick Y tap to initiate Warp with an Airport truck and it to 90 seconds before it crashed into the sea!
I watched it from Meiggs Tower and it resembled an old Volks Wagen advert where the vehicle comes hurtling out the sky!

I found that you must make sure that the following are done before you switch to slew mode.
a.) The throttle are off
b.) the revs setting must be at idle or off.
c.) parking brake aplied.
a lot of time the throttle are on idle but the power revs setting are on full. so props are still going at full revs this tens to put your plane in a bullet mode when slewing.
the same applies with jets, make sure the throttles are back/ or switched off and the plane has the parking brake on.
This should solve your problem |
