1, how to make AI Traffic work? i have MRAI, it installed the flight plans, but it doesnt work, i dnt see any planes flying...
2, ( if AI Traffic doesnt work ) i would like to put some aircrafts in the airport. doesnt really matter flying or not. i checked the tutorials but its all about parking and dont see anything about adding a plane on the parking.

AFCAD is a CAD (Computer Assisted Drawing) program for adding gates and parking at airports.
MRAI will only give you flightplans. You have to find and install the models and textures yourself. If I were you, I'd delete all the MRAI stuff you have done.
Go to www.projectai.com. Download their installer v2.5 I think, then get their flightplans. They include models/textures in everything. Read their tutorial because it is quite good and not too difficult to understand.
I'm collaborating with a few members here at Surclaro to finish up my AI Tutorial so watch for that. I think it will help out those of you who have difficulty in understanding how a flightplan works. At least, I hope it will.
Try the PAI site first. Then post back if you guyz have any ??'s.

Don't mean to be rude Bud but are you reading anything on the PAI site at all?? Everything's right there?
Chill out first. You've got yourself so worked up you can't see the stop sign coming up!?! Your frustration is getting in the way of your eyesight.
Do what RickTobin suggested...read the PAI tutorial first. If you don't get it...read it again until you do. PAI is the only site out there that gives you a large amount of flightplans complete with models and textures. No one else comes close so they are your only option other than buying Ultimate Traffic or something like that. The questions you are asking take days to answer, and it would be faster for you to just read the tutorial and go from there. But you have to relax man. Doesn't do anyone any good if you are boiling over. If anything, it will turn them away.
Read the tutorial on PAI's site. It's as easy as it can get. There is nothing easier offered by anyone else other than pre-packaged flight plans. Once you get it, you'll be hooked!

| not to many people out there looking for static A/C, but I believe RWY12 has a few non-moveable scenery A/C. Give that a try.

What you want is 'static' aircraft. Done with Scenery design programs. Try Rick's suggestion and if not, check out some scenery design sites.

| You can have AI aircraft as statics. Just make a simple, non complicated flightplan, then in the airport you want it, put the gate, then simply forget to attach it to a taxiway. The aircraft will just sit there nice and still. But to insure that you dont have a "real" AI plane park there. assign parking codes to it. I hope this isn't too complicated...

If you do that Tim, through a flightplan, won't it affect the real AI A/C that want to park at that gate?
I can't come up with a good reason to use static A/C. If you're flying, you'll only see the A/C for a few minutes any way. If you have any good AI A/C on your system there's no reason to have static A/C. All you need to do is figure out your flight plans and start your flights at the time you know the A/C will be at that location. There really is no good reason for static A/C.

No, because the gate in afcad is not attached to a taxiway, or anything for that matter. There-for no plane can park there. You just have to hope that the plane you want parks there when you start up FS. To insure this, you want to use parking codes and assign the gate a parking code that is no where else on the airport.

High all, how is everybody *beep* you guys are making it more complicated and harder than it needs to be. I am about to get a 5th of Jack and get hammered, like I am getting hammered (head-ache) reading all these posts. Holy-Cow !!!
Static-smatic, If you just want to see your a/c at your home a/p, then do this one simple thing. Get T_Tools !!! Then you can add all the semi-static a/c you want. Have the flight start at your a/p for the first leg around 11 pm, and have it go to a close (less than an hour flight) a/p, then run the return leg 15 min after arrival, back to your a/p. Just make sure you file the flight as every 24 hrs or every 2 days. The a/c will be parked there during most (95%) of every ones flight times. I don't take off earlier than 5 am or later than 10 pm. If you do, its dark, and can't see the planes anyways. This way you can see all your semi-static a/c during prime time fly time.
OMG....I just made this easier than opening a beer !!!
