I downloaded this plane yesterday. Kinda hard to describe.....but the plane isn't sitting on the ground properly. The plane is sitting perfectly horizontal.....the tail is up as if I were taxiing for takeoff.....and the left and right wheels appear to be about 1/3 of the way in the runway. The plane isn't moving nor is the engine even running.

I'm guessing the place to go to correct this would be the aircraft.cfg file? I'm not real knowledgeable about editing the file just yet, so if you have some ideas about which settings to look at, I'd appreciate it.

For those of us that don't have it, how about putting up a link or file name of the download, and where, so we can look at it, and possibly correct it.

Otherwise, delete it if you don't like it.

Thanks, will look into it, and see if I can fix the problem.

May take awhile, as work is 14 hr days. So give me a week or two, if you want it fixed or not.

This post perked up my antennae, so I took a look at the .cfg files side by side with the 2k2 default updated for 2k4. Oh man, RD, you are going to have a triple emotional response at their use of substituted cfg and air files to get the performance they were looking for. A real knee slapper, and some of the animations are missing. Cant wait to see what solution you use.

Thanks GS!

When you said "souped up". That gave it away to me: THE SUPER CORSAIR 800+ KNOTs -- PAST MACH 1!

Good luck.

I deleted it, after flying in that junk FDE

Dump it.

imho, not worth the effort it seems ro me.

When I downloaded it I assumed it was modeled after the F2G Super Corsair, but after trying to fly it.....I'm not sure what it was modeled after.

The "turbine engine data" section in the cfg marks it as a half breed.

Well, lets see now..........Be back with your fix in about a year or two.

I haven't gotten it yet, but I will, without a doubt, trust GS and Tomcats "review" of the bird in question.

Thanks for the heads up guys. Saved me from some head scratching and cussing, and then ripping off somebody's head so I can.......................
