It is late in the coming. And I spent alot of time saving pics from the August contest. I don't know what happened or why, and I don't care. But of the rules for August, to post up an "environment" style pic, it was between 2.
I did not favor anybody. I went solely on perspective, originality, concept, and total pic.
And 121a got the nod. Not by much, though.
GS had a great shot too, and deserves a "pic well done". Both shots are included with this post.
Hint to GS.... Get rid or cover up the messages....lol.

Well Noddy, congrats, for another win for another month.
Watch your back mate, I am coming for you. (In good spirits of course)
Really, congrats, and hope to see more from you.
C'mon all, we need your shots for the months coming. This is how it is done. If you have to, or need to, go to the screenshot forum, and look for the shots that have the high votes. Go back a year, so you know who the best are. We are there, and you can learn, to what makes a great s/s, without a super duper rig.
I want more members to join in.

Many thanks all for the very kind comments and for the votes. I really do appreciate it. Funny I actually thought the Phantom shot was better.
Oh no RD is after me, have to move again!!!!!!
Have to agree with RD, it has taken me a long time to to get my shots like they are. And I am still learning.
So keep going guys and its true you do not need a super duper rig to get stunning shots. Just plan a shot out, pause the sim see how the shot will look. if your not happy just try different angles, weather and times of day, it will all come together.
Anyway, once again many thanks all.
I'm off to pack my bags and run from RD!!!!

Thanks RD, looked at the running the other day, and was surprised to see me up there.
Well done everyone, that was a bit of a tough one, you have no idea how long it took me to get that shot, and how many pics I trashed in the process.

Well done Mel.
Might not be able to post any further shots for awhile as the GFX card seems to have died.

Thanks Noddy......... I may have the same problem, I just got hit with the TrojanKillAV virus, god knows when, or how it got in, but it's contained now, but at a price, lost certain parts of Windows, which may or may not be recoverable, if not, then a clean sweep and a new XP install, frantically backing everything up at the mo.
I have no Control Panel, no System Restore, and lost my admin status.
